What singles me out

I enjoy it when people find satisfaction in their work and career and go their own way. As a qualified vocational, study and career counsellor, I support young people and adults in clarifying and effectively implementing their professional goals.

Professional experience: Self-employed vocational, study and career counsellor (www.hertig-beratungen.ch), previously worked as a counsellor in a public institution (BIZ). Career choice and application coaching for young people in 3rd secondary school, eight years’ experience as a class and support teacher at kindergarten level, including several years as a team leader. Co-responsible for the further development of school quality in various areas.

Education: Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) ZFH in Vocational, Academic and Career Counselling (BSLB) at the Institute of Applied Psychology (IAP) at the ZHAW in Zurich. Bachelor of Arts PH Zurich in Pre-Primary Education at the Unterstrass Institute of the PHZH

Further education, seminars and courses: personality psychology (www.psi-schweiz.ch); further training course in “test theory”: science-based application of personality, interest and performance tests in the BSLB; training as a mentor for young people with increased support needs in the career choice and application process; various courses as a volunteer in the visiting service of Pro Senectute; further training in the area of exercise and health promotion for children in everyday school life.

Miscellaneous: Two seven-month internships in the field of work education and in a hotel business as well as integration support for an Eritrean woman.

Hobbies and interests: Exercise and regeneration in nature, reading and writing, music, psychology, family and friends, deep conversations, enjoying tasty food.
